We bid farewell to Cordelia Peters of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on August 18, 2025 at the age of 84. Cordelia touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman Schrock and Anneta Meyer Schrock; and her brothers-in-law, Albert Peters, Ted Peters, Clarence Peters (Pat) and Leroy Peters.
She is survived by: her husband Herman Peters of Mary's Cathedral; her children, Gary Peters (Becky), John Peters (Jill) and Christy Kosharek (Keith); her grandchildren, Audrey Gendron (Zac), Collin Peters (Maci), Renee Peters and Steven Peters (Joanna); her great grandchildren, Sawyer, Kal Gendron and Warren Peters; her sister Carletta Bohnert; and her siblings-in-law, Marie Peters, Kathy Peters, Shirley Thiele and Ralph Peters.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or for Masses.
