It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daniel Paul Kurtz of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, who passed away on April 8, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Leon Kurtz and Mary Quinn Kurtz; and his siblings, Greg Kurtz, Jeanette Kurtz, Dolores Herrod and Patricia Randol (Roger).

He is survived by : his wife Mary Lou; his daughters, Robin Kurtz of Ozark, Rebecca Kurtz of Newport Richie, Jenine Kurtz-Conway of Branson and Jessica Mozo (Manuel) of Nashville, Tennessee; his siblings, Jim Kurtz (Karen) of Mt. Pleasant, Iowa and Mary Powers (Frank) of Fort Madison, Iowa; and his grandchildren, Justin McNaughton, Blake Kolwyck, Colsen Conway, Javen Conway, Shayla Conway, Bryce Mozo, Brett Mozo and Brielle Mozo.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 4th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church (1919 Ritter Dr, Cape Girardeau, MO 63701). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, May 4th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
