He was predeceased by: his parents, Finis Leo and Bernedith Virginia Davidson; his sister Mary Busch; and his great grandchild Remi. He is survived by: his wife Rosemary Cowan; his children, Gina Maxwell (Rob) of Peachtree City, GA and David Shannon Davidson (Marcy) of Venice, FL; his brother Lynn Davidson (Kay) of Cedar Hill, TX; his grandchildren, Tyler Schrama (Ashley), Madison Blanchard (Pierce), Katie Delano (Luke), Amanda Sartain (Jackson), Mitchell Maxwell (Sara) and Michael Davidson; his great grandchildren, Blakelynn, Aurora, Brecken, Kami, Karli, Millie, Lydia, Skye and Liam; his stepdaughter Kristi Sivert (Chad); and his stepgrandson Devin Sivert.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Lynwood Baptist Church.
