He was predeceased by: his brother Wayne Bernhardt (Sally); and his nephews, Leonard Bernhardt, Tommy Berhnardt and Dewayne Cox. He is survived by: his children, Heather Jean Mouser of Cape Girardeau, David Bernhardt (Marlene) of Coleman, Stephen John Bernhardt of Cape Girardeau and Jeffry Scott Bernhardt (Donna) of Dupo, Illinois; his brother Terry Bernhardt of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; his grandchildren, Brooke Nicole Bernhardt, Noah Donald Bernhardt, Hannah Irene Bernhardt (Nick), Kenton Lee Bernhardt (Emmi), Starr Michelle Bernhardt (Garrett), Dakota Rose Hughey (Fizzy) and Kanion Chayton Hughey; and his great grandchildren, Roy Hinman IV, Ravyn Hinman, Ronan Hughey, Lilith Rosetta Bernhardt and Caoimhe Ire Dahlia Hinman. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
