Though Dorothy Jean may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Eugene and Bertha Gertrude Haslip Ticer; her son-in-law Doyle Eugene Landers; and her grandchild Shannon Eugene Landers. She is survived by: her children, Roger Shoulders (Annette) and Brenda Landers of Sedgewickville; and her grandchildren, LaDonna Landers (Floriberto), Renee Ziegler (Brad) and Joshua Shoulders (Kelli). She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Funeral Home (1001 N Mt Auburn Rd, Cape Girardeau, MO 63701). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be given to Scriptural Evangelical Lutheran Church or American Cancer Society.
