Dorothy Mary Kluesner Obituary
We announce the death of Dorothy Mary Kluesner in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, who passed away on September 24, 2026, at the age of 90. Dorothy will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Anthony and Mary Ann "Mayme" Horrell Morie; her husband Bernard W. Kluesner; her daughter Susan Hinkebein; and her brothers, Herbert and John Morie.
She is survived by: her daughters, Denise McDowell (Tom) and Linda Haynes (Mike); her son-in-law Ron Hinkebein; her brother Larry Morie (Carol); her grandchildren, Brittney Lee (Josh), Blair Huckstep (Zach), Seth McDowell (Jenny), Chelsea McDowell Mpaka (William), Michael Haynes II (Stpehanie Branaugh), Zachary McDowell (Jordi) and Lauren Billings (Jacob); and her great grandchildren, Rhett Huckstep, Asher Huckstep, Bryson Lee, Payton McDowell, Parker McDowell, Porter McDowell, Judah McDowell, Truett McDowell, Ayla Mpaka, Lillie Billings and Mary Mae Billings.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center (640 W Independence St, Jackson, MO 63755). A prayer was held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 7:30 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (208 S Hope St, Jackson, MO 63755).
