The memory of Dorothy Marie Seyer of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, who passed away on October 5, 2025 at the age of 96, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Elfrank and Lorena Urhahn Elfrank; and her brothers, Elmer and Victor Elfrank. She is survived by: her children, Rick Seyer (Kim) of Sarasota, Florida and Donna Mirly of St. Louis; her grandchildren, Cassandra Shaw (Jeremy), Chelsea Bess (Mike), Chris Mirly, Reagan Seyer and Alexis Seyer; and her great grandchildren, Jason and Maddie Shaw.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Funeral Home (1001 N Mt Auburn Rd, Cape Girardeau, MO 63701). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary Cathedral (615 William St, Cape Girardeau, MO 63703).
Memorial contributions may be given to St. Mary Cathedral.
