He is survived by: his wife Jan McKernan of Cape Girardeau; his sons, Jason McKernan (Terri) of Columbia and Toby McKernan (Becky) of Wentzville, Missouri; his grandchildren, Kelly Canote (Alex), Rachel McKernan, Zachary McKernan, Tristan McKernan, Hunter McKernan and Cooper McKernan; and his great grandchildren, Anderson and Miller Canote.
