He was predeceased by: his former wife Almaretta Hanson; his daughter Debbie Rhodes Hodge; and his siblings, Alvin Rhodes (Eileen), Melvin "Mac" Rhodes (Dorothy), Vivian Wampler (John), Marvin Rhodes (Melba) and Vernon "Peewee" Rhodes (Carole).
He is survived by: his wife Carol Daniel (Dewees); his son Eddie Rhodes (Valorie) of Wesley Chapel, Florida; his sister Evelyn Seal (JL) of Farmington, Missouri; his grandchildren, Hali Lynn Hutter (Rich) of Cape Girardeau, Mallory Brooke Morrison (Randall), Brittany Leigh Rhodes, Knoxville and Cameron Taylor Rhodes of Cape Girardeau; his great grandchildren, Kaliyah, Kastiel, Anjali and Davey; Josh Daniel of Tupelo, MS and Heath Daniel of St Louis, MO..
