She is survived by: her child Beverly Essner (Jerome) of Kelso, MO; her grandchildren, Scott Essner (Sarah) of Dow, IL, Amy Mattes (Ryan) of Kelso, Neal Essner (Melissa) of Peosta, IA, Renee Scroggins (Matt) of Kelso and Kyle Essner (Mikayla) of Kelso; her son Walter Seyer (Kathy) of Kelso; her grandchildren, Adam Seyer (Valerie) of Kelso, Keith Seyer (Cami) of Vancouver, B. C. and Stacey Welter (Derek) of Kelso; her son Jeff Seyer of Edwardsville, IL; her grandsons, Aaron and Nick Seyer; her son Ken Seyer of Jefferson City, MO; her grandchildren, Matt Seyer of Jefferson City and Mackenzie Sebastian (Jereme) of Kansas City, MO; her son Roger Seyer (Kari) of New York, NY; her grandchild Declan Seyer; her son Steve Seyer (Jane) of Erie, CO; her grandchildren, Lydia Seyer (Justin Searcy) of Exton, PA and Isaac Seyer of Erie; her daughter Teresa Givens (Scott) of Cape Girardeau; her grandchildren, Allie, Evan, Jenna and Michael Givens of Cape Girardeau; her daughter-in-law Joni Seyer of Kelso; her grandchildren-in-law, Jacob Seyer (Deavyn) of Bellingham, WA, Taylor Myers (Corey) of Cape Girardeau and Jordan Seyer of Springfield, MO; her daughter-in-law Debbie Seyer of Jefferson City, MO; her sisters, Fran Willenbring (Joe) of Jackson, MO and Millie Seyer of Jackson, MO; and her siblings-in-law, Paul Essner of Benton, MO, Don James, Paul Summers of Cape Girardeau, Joe Schreckenberg of Hillsboro, MO and Dorothy Seyer of Jackson, MO.. She is also survived by 26 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, May 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Funeral Home (1001 N Mt Auburn Rd, Cape Girardeau, MO 63701). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, May 19th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary Cathedral (615 William St, Cape Girardeau, MO 63703).
Memorial contributions may be given to St. Mary's Cathedral School in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
