He was predeceased by: his parents, Mike Morihiko Azuma and Annie Misako Azuma. He is survived by: his wife Kay Azuma; his children, Jason Akira Azuma (Anne Light) and Gina Marie Azuma Cox (Kevin); his siblings, Steven Akira Azuma (Elaine), Paul Morihiko Azuma and Joyce Haru Azuma Hanson (Mark); and his grandchildren, Olivia Mariko Azuma and Samuel Morihiko Cox.
