He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. E. Otha Wingo and Ann Wingo (Hardy). He is survived by: his son Elijah Wingo; his siblings, Lynn Koerber (Al) and Eric Wingo (Candy); his godson Aric Euphrosynus Johnson; his nieces and nephews, Vanessa Cuellar, Jaina Koerber, Yosef Goldberg, Yoram Koerber, Devin Wingo, Escher Wingo and Corey Wingo; and his pets, Momo and Milo. He is also survived by several cousins, grand-nephews, and grand-nieces.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given towards family use for funeral expenses.
