She is survived by: her husband Jim Finley; her children, Kara Skelton (Mike) of Cape Girardeau and Kris Finley of Los Angeles, California.; her son-in-law Michael Skelton; her grandsons, Grant Michael Skelton and William Finley Skelton; her sisters, Dianne Phelps (John), Andrea Walton (Gordon) and Janet Harmon (Rex); her brother-in-law Jerry Finley (Debbie); her nieces and nephews, Elizabeth Caton (Ian), Lauren Preston (Alan), Mary Evans (Brian), Kelly Harmon (Joan), Brad Phelps (Crystal) and Hunter Finley (Abby); and her goddaughter Betsy Turner (Corby).
In lieu of flowers, Jo Ella requested that memorials be given to Granting Grace Outreach, 1572 Howell Street, Cape Girardeau, Missouri, 63701, a non-profit founded by her grandson, Grant, in 2015 that helps community members in need.
