Joan Jones Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Jones of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, who passed away on July 2, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester A. Lemonds and Addie Mae Watkins Lemonds; her husband Fred; her son Fred A. Jones Jr.; her son-in-law Truman D. Petzoldt; and her siblings, Chester A. Lemonds, Ruth, Ruby Lee, Shirley and Lora Mae.
She is survived by: her children, Debora E. Petzoldt, Jerry and Frank Jones; and her nephew Raymond Dean (Betty). She is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews and many friends.
