He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Bruenderman and Louise Bruenderman of Charleston, MO.; his brother Joe Bruenderman; and his niece Sahara Aldridge. He is survived by: his wife Sandy; his son Darrin Bruenderman (Jill); his grandchildren, Carson, Elise, Claire, Evan and Cole; his sister-in-law Amy (Shannon); his nephew Nash Aldridge; his siblings, Don Bruenderman, Bill Bruenderman (Ann), Mary Ellen Hails (Mark) and Rose Ann Nadler (Terry); his niece Ruth Windings; and his friends, Mike and Daryl Kepner.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made in honor of John to St. Vincent de Paul Parish, 1913 Ritter Drive, Cape Girardeau, MO 63701 or Notre Dame Regional High School, 265 Notre Dame Dr., Cape Girardeau, MO 63701.
