She was predeceased by: her parents, John Sam and Pauline Varnon of Morley; her siblings, Dee Raffety, Betty Cruse, John Sam Varnon, Jr., Stanley Varnon and Mack Varnon; her nephew John Varnon; and her brothers-in-law, Bob Cruse, Dr. Bill Stacy and Judge Stephen Sharp.
She is survived by: her husband Toby Roodman of Morgan Hill, CA; her siblings, Sue Stacy of Cape Girardeau, MO, Patt Sharp of Kennett, MO, Tony Varnon (Janet) of Cape Girardeau and Richard Varnon (Suzanne) of Germantown, TN; her brother-in-law Joe Raffety of Clarksville, TN; her siblings' children, Julia, Mary Raffety, Nikki Varnon, Lily Varnon, Joshua Varnon, Sam Varnon, Jim Varnon and Matt Varnon; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Brooklyn Varnon, Lucy Varnon, Johnathan, Jacob and Joey Varnon.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, August 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel (1001 N Mt Auburn Rd, Cape Girardeau, MO 63701). A graveside service will be held on Sunday, August 17th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Fairdealing Cemetery.
