It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Julia Hoffmeister of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, who passed away on July 25, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Julia Hoffmeister to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Koerber and Ruby Masters Koerber; and her sister Viola Weiss. She is survived by: her children, Jeff Hoffmeister (Kelly) of Waterloo, Gwen Seyer (Paul) of Jackson, Brian Hoffmeister (Bob Stelle) of Palm Springs and Kim Winslow (John) of Overland Park, Kansas; her grandchildren, Paige Mays, Taylor Liefer, Adam Hoffmeister, Jordan Buckthorpe, Marcus, Megan and Clayton Winslow; and her great grandchildren, Van Mays and Crosby Liefer.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the McCombs Funeral Home & Cremation Center (640 W Independence St, Jackson, MO 63755). A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Mausoleum Cape County Memorial Park Cemetery (2315 US-61, Cape Girardeau, MO 63701).
The family asks that contributions be made to Saxony Lutheran School or Trinity Lutheran Ladies Aid Auxiliary group.
