He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Haas and Elma Vandeven Haas; and his siblings, Alvin "Bud" Haas, Harold Haas, John Haas, Lucille Christoff and Joan Lane.
He is survived by: his children, Susan Haas Riehl of Cape Girardeau, Thomas Haas (Teri) of Washington and Sara Doherty (Steve) of Ballwin, Missouri; and his grandchildren, Luke Riehl, Alexandra Myers, Michael Haas, Jenna Haas, Elizabeth Johnson, Maria Doherty, Grace Schott and Meghan Doherty. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 4th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel (1001 N Mt Auburn Rd, Cape Girardeau, MO 63701). A rosary will be held on Sunday, May 4th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, May 5th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church (1919 Ritter Dr, Cape Girardeau, MO 63701).
