She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence "Brick" Ritter and Mabel Kurre Ritter; her husband Steve Niemann; and her brother Dr. C. John Ritter. She is survived by: her sons, Tod Hampton (Susie) of Cape Girardeau, Brad Hampton (Val) of Chatham and Tim Hampton of Wichita, Kansas; her stepchildren, Ron Niemann (Sally) of Del Norte and Jan Weiss (Bob) of Carbondale, Illinois; her grandchildren, Bailey Hampton and Carly Cooper (Duncan); her stepgrandchildren, Heather Shipley (Mark), Meghan Hagadorn (Damien), Tony Niemann (Maggie) and Cheri Ahlrichs (Rod); her great grandchildren, Addilyn Sue Hampton, Olivia and Theo Cooper; her stepgreat-grandsons, Luke Shipley, Dylan and Ethan Hagadorn; her nieces, Robin Burger and Emilie Hamm; and her nephew Ben Ritter.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Emanuel United Church of Christ in Jackson.
