He was predeceased by: his father Leonard W. Lowes; his daughter Donna Sue Lowes Hosack; and his siblings, David Lowes, Tim Lowes and Sara.
He is survived by: his mother Helen J. Lowes (Alexander); his spouse Earleen Nothdurft; his sons, James W. Lowes of Cape Girardeau and Curtis M. Lowes of Scopus, Missouri; his siblings, Jim Lowes (Pam) of Edmund, Steve Lowes (Jane) of Elwood, Kenny Lowes (Linda) of Sikeston, Greg Lowes (Cindy) of West Plains, Missouri and Mary Ann Halter (Andy) of Sikeston, Missouri; and his sister-in-law Edith Lowes of Cape Girardeau, Missouri. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Richard Lowes trust for a scholarship fund to be established in Richard and Earleen's names.
