She was predeceased by : her parents, Delias Cartwright and Winnie Cartwright (McCollum); and her siblings, Clyde, Jimmy, Loren "Bo" Cartwright, Glenda "Toots" Link and Elizabeth Cartwright.
She is survived by : her daughter Nikki Brewer (Jay) of St. Louis, Missouri; and her friend Marsha Cantanni.
Rita was a former 4H member and a 4H volunteer, a member of the Arthritis Foundation and belonged to a local Tuesday Lunch Bunch.
