In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Sharon had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Sharon may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her mother Louise Hesse Ackman; and her husband Norman. She is survived by: her daughter Lisa Chapman of Cape Girardeau; her sister-in-law Geraldine Ackman (late Wayland); her nieces, Bonnie Kay Hendrix (David) and Jeanette Lee Hammer (Patricia Kowalski); and her nephew Marvin McMillian (Sharon). She is also survived by other loving nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or New Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
