He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald G. Boren and Maxine Busch Boren; his brother Nicky Boren; and his nephew Jeremy Boren. He is survived by: his wife Beverly Boren; his daughters, Courtney Landgraf (Clayton) and Stephanie Wessell (Bryan); his sister-in-law Vickie Boren (Bill Ashby); his nephew Jeff Boren (Jillian); his niece Katie Boren; and his grandchildren, Mason, Piper, Kellan Landgraf, Chase, Aidan and Ava Wessell.
