In loving memory of Susan J. Barrett of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, who departed this world on October 13, 2025 at the age of 68. Susan leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Douglas Koch and Daisy Marie Myer Koch; her daughter LaCole Kelton; and her brother Richard "Scott" Koch. She is survived by: her husband Michael Barrett; her son Nicholas Barrett (Danielle) of Jackson; her granddaughters, Bailey and Kennedy; her brother Rob Koch (Delores) of Cape Girardeau; and her sister-in-law Jane Koch (late Richard Scott) of Cape Girardeau. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, many friends, co-workers, and her precious canine companions.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McCombs Funeral Home (1425 Kurre Ln, Cape Girardeau, MO 63701). A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the St. Louis Hope Lodge which provides cancer patients with lodging and support.
