It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Thomas C. Sparkman (Cape Girardeau, Missouri), who passed away at the age of 93, on October 13, 2025. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Echeberger and Gertrude Gardner Sparkman; his parents-in-law, Albert H. Wessell and Dorothy Wessell; his siblings, Glenn Sparkman, Mary Nell, Alice Lee, Verna and Vera Sparkman; his son Thomas Kendall Sparkman; and his granddaughter Sage Elizabeth Sparkman.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Sparkman; his children, Randy Sparkman (Laura), Dr. Mark Hahn (Angel) and Tara King (Shawn); and his grandchildren, Thomas Sumner Sparkman, Blake Sparkman, Caden Hahn, Sienna Hahn, Everly Hahn, Tanner King and Callie. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Zion Lutheran Church of Gordonville (176 Co Rd 226, Cape Girardeau, MO 63701). A committal service will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Cape County Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Zion Lutheran Church in support of their sound system improvement fund, or a charity of your choice..
