It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Vincent Wencewicz of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, who passed away on April 27, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Casimir Paul and Helen Catherine Bialczak Wencewicz; and his daughter Mary Catherine. He is survived by: his wife Dotty; his sister Helen Lefler (Joseph) of St. Louis; his children, Ruth Ann Hester (Michael) of Cape Girardeau, Amy Worley (Jeff) of Jackson, Sara Cook (Tom) of Jackson, Katie Michael (Robert) of Cape Girardeau, Tommy Wencewicz (Cari) of Edwardsville and Timmy Wencewicz (Rachel) of St. Louis; his grandchildren, Theresa Fornkohl (Dustin), Paul Mier, Christian Hester, Michaela Mansker, Jessica Watkins (Zach), Adam, Elecia Worley, Jamison Ashworth, Sophie Cook, Abigail, Lillian Michael, Eric, Aiden Wencewicz, Grace, Lucy, Emory and Benjamin Wencewicz; and his great grandchildren, Persephone Mansker, Brecken and Blair Fornkohl.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to St. Vincent de Paul Grade School for the Thomas and Dorothy Wencewicz Legacy Scholarship, to the Notre Dame Regional High School Education Fund Foundation, and to Birthright.
