Vonda Lea Slinkard Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vonda Lea Slinkard of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, who passed away on October 24, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil Hammack and Helen Taylor; her stepmother Madlyn Hammack; and her son Franklin John Sander, III. She is survived by: her son Howard Scott Sander (Patricia) of Cape Girardeau; her grandchildren, Justin Scott Sander (Hannah) of Boone and Toni Ervin of Cape Girardeau; and her great grandchildren, Forrest Scott Sander, Lucy Mae Sander, Cynthia Izetta Sander and Liah Jo Ervin.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel (1001 N Mt Auburn Rd, Cape Girardeau, MO 63701). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
