It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of William C. Stone Sr. of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, who passed away on June 16, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles E. Stone and Ruby A Scheper Stone; his daughter Drusilla Leigh Laurentius; and his sisters, Margie Foister, Ruth Bragg, Wilma Cupler and Carmie Raglin.
He is survived by: his wife Wilma Stone; his children, William "Bill" Stone Jr. (Shelly), Michael G. Stone (Pam), Judy Harrison (Michael) and Diana Fox; his son-in-law Gary Laurentius; and his grandchildren, Andy Harrison (Christy), Tara Simmons, Michael Harrison (Jamie), Heather Monroe, Courtney Monroe, Kiley Stone, Kelsey Stone, Christine Dillingham (John), Trey Stone (Alyssa), Garret Stone (Melanie), Blake Stone (Kayla), Josh Stone (Melissa), Gary Laurentius (Leslie Mayfield), Joey Laurentius (Emily) and Ashley Kaminskey (Dylan). He is also survived by twenty three great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel (1001 N Mt Auburn Rd, Cape Girardeau, MO 63701). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
