He is survived by: his significant other Mary Diane McAlpine; his children, Mark (Robin) and Deborah Smith; his grandchildren, Greg Newsom (Tessa), Lindsey Kelley (Colin), Liz Piazza (Brad), Chris (Kaitlin), Paul (Rachael), John (Maddie), Rachel Streets (Josh) and Kellie; and his sister-in-law Anita Stephenson (Allen). He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren.
