She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Lewis and Beatrice Lewis (Collins). She is survived by: her children, Stephen Young (Cathy) and Debra Snoddy (Chris); her grandchildren, Robert Young, Megan Benson, Christopher Snoddy and Sara Lehman; and her great grandchildren, Hayden, Eli, Allison, Jack, Nikolai and Lillyanna.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Park Plaza Christian Church (3220 S Indiana Ave, Joplin, MO 64804). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Ozark Memorial Park (415 N St Louis Ave, Joplin, MO 64801).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, in care of the mortuary.
