Chris Giefer Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Chris Giefer in Carl Junction, Missouri, born in Arcadia, Kansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 16, 2026 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Chris may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Chris touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Elvis Jones and Lottie Jones (McBride); her husband William "Bill" Giefer; and the father of her children Raymond Brooks. She is survived by: her daughters, Judy Marcus (David) of Carl Junction, MO and Pam Newell (Stephen) of Parsons, Kansas. She is also survived by 4 grand children, 6 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
