He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Johnny Edward Gaither and Wanda Kathiel; his wife Deanna Sue Gaither; and his children, Josh Norton, Jalyn Wilbert, Amea Rush (Dusty), Haliey Wheeler (Scott) and Trisha Ryan (Blake Williams). He was also cherished by his 15 grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Simpson Funeral Home (101 N Main St, Carl Junction, MO 64834).
