He was predeceased by : his parents, George "Byron" Carter and Amanda "Ernestine" Carter; his wife Norene Carter (Rice); and his sister Imogene Booth. He is survived by : his children, Ryan Carter (Jennifer Parker) of Carrollton and Janelle Murphy (James "Curt" Murphy) of Carrollton; his grandchildren, Conner Barnhart, Zoey Barnhart, Preston Carter, Payton Carter, Ella Barnhart, Trey Barnhart and Lauren Carter; and his sister Marjorie Herring of Carrollton. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
