He was predeceased by : his father James Edward Long; and his brother William Edward "Bill" Long. He is survived by : his mother Carol Long of Carrollton; his siblings, Sandy Long of Carrollton and Tom Long (Michelle) of Higginsville; and his nieces and nephews, Jessica Long, Haley Nowak, Thomas Long, Samuel Long, Isaac Long, Eliza Long, Jacob Long and Molly Long.
