With sadness, we share the passing of John Richard Vandeventer of Carrollton, Missouri. John Richard, born on December 18, 1955, passed away on September 28, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Willian and Grace Irene Vandeventer (Magruder); his daughter Tara Marie Vandeventer; his siblings, Lloyd Vandeventer (Shirley), Yvonne Weeks (Ronnie) and Clara Ann Woodard (Jack); his grandchildren, Jayden Strickland and Alexandra Strickland; and his nieces and nephews, Rhonda Machado (Tony), Regina Weeks, Clifton Vandeventer (Keli), Aaron Aversman (Merrick), Crystal Smoot (Eric), Scott Woodard and Ginger Guess.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Bittiker Funeral Home (1201 US-65, Carrollton, MO 64633). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
The family suggests contributions to Evergreen Cemetery.
