With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lloyd Smoot of Carrollton, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 18, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Smoot and Lucille Smoot (Martin); his sons, Mark Allen Smoot and Brian Keith Smoot; his son-in-law Steve Owensby; and his siblings, Helen McNiece, Laura Staton, Elizabeth McCullom, Velma Lonergan (Toots), Clarence Smoot, Jr. (Bud), Laurence Smoot (Sonny) and Vernon Smoot.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Smoot; and his children, Michelle Warner, Debbie Owensby and Eric Smoot (Crystal). He is also survived by half brother, Larry Cauthon, Alabama; 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
