With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Richard Douglas Cox of Carrollton, Missouri, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ozel Cox and Mildred Cox (Liddell); his siblings, Patsy Lawson and John Cox; and his grandson Hayden Ritchhart.
He is survived by: his wife Verna Gale Cox; his siblings, Ozel Cox (Mary Ann) and Peggy Gardner; his children, Brandon Bugher (Tammy), Kim Ritchhart (Michael), Doug Cox (Melissa), Robert Cox and Katherine Riepe (Dan); and his grandchildren, Hannah Ritchhart, William Cox, Theodore Cox, Maddie Davis, Aaron Bugher (Gwynne) and Leesa Bugher. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Oak Hill Cemetery.
