With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Rice of Carrollton, Missouri, who passed away on December 26, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Edward and Audrey Jane Dickerson (Shirley); her husband Samuel Martin Rice; and her sons, Bruce Burton Rice and Martin Edward Rice (Marty).
She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Barbara Rice; her granddaughters, Tess Abigail Rice and Trisha Audrey Brown (Charlie); her great grandchildren, Sydney Lee Brown of Columbia, MO and Stella Burton Brown of Columbia, MO; her nephew Ryan Carter of Carrollton, MO; her nieces, Jodi Farr of Olathe, KS and Sherri Taylor of Palm Harbor; and her aunt Marilyn Shirley of Edmund, OK.
The family suggests contributions to the First Methodist Church of Carrollton, MO.
