He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Patrick "Pat" Anderson IV and Berneta Lucille (Utley); his grandchildren, Lane Matthew Anderson and Lendley Kate Sampsel; his brothers, Thomas Scott "Tom" Anderson, James Christopher "Jim" Anderson and Hugh Patrick "Butch" Anderson V; his niece Lonna "Page" Rounkles; and his nephews, Patrick Blake Anderson, Ryan Scott Anderson, Patrick Raymond "Rick" Kinsella II and Benjamin Riley "Ben" Anderson.

He is survived by: his wife Kathy Rae McNally; his children, Matthew Brian "Matt" Anderson (Joeann) of Kansas City, MO and Kristin Leigh "Kristi" (Anderson); his grandchildren, Mercedes Hughes (Aaron), Garrett Zelmer, Tianna Snyder, Nicki Anderson, Spencer Anderson (Sydney), Alyssa Castillo, Nevaeh Woodland, Logan Sampsel (Amanda) and Lincoln Sampsel; his great grandchildren, Arianna, Audrey, Ainslee Hughes, Delaney O'Banion, Eli Anderson, Adelynn Roe and Kreed Sampsel; and his siblings, Connie Rounkles, Kay Cox, Dee Kinsella (Pat), Debbie Neptune (Bud), Theresa Wever (Kelly) and Bill Anderson (Patty). He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
