He was predeceased by: his parents, William Harold and Alice LaRue Gooch (Whipple). He is survived by: his son William Jason Gooch of Mountain Home, AR; his grandsons, William Jacob Gooch and Elijah Gooch; and his sisters, Debbie Clapper of Carrollton, Donna Ford (Randall) of Sweet Springs and Deena Hightower (Ed) of Marshall. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Heritage Hall (109 E 2nd St, Norborne, MO 64668).
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to either Shirkey Hospice or American Cancer Society.
