She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Dunaway and Minnie Dunaway; and her daughter Bettie Crossland. She is survived by: her daughter Mary White; her grandchildren, Winter Taylor, Charles Todd Marrett, Kyle Russell Marrett and Levi White; and her brothers, John Dunaway, Henry Dunaway and Earl Dunaway, Jr.. She is also survived by four great grandchildren.
