With sadness, we share the passing of Allan VanDenBerg Jr. (Carthage, Missouri). Allan, born on April 1, 1943, passed away on September 7, 2026. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Allan VanDenBerg Jr. to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Max VanDenBerg and Mary VanDenBerg (Cogswell); and his brother Phillip. He is survived by: his wife Jane; his sons, Jeff (Shelley), Chris (Elizabeth) and Chad (Sarah); his grandchildren, Avery, Evelyn, Sasha, Lenny, Everett and Lucas; his sister Julie (Marty); and his in-laws, Beth, John, Lori and Carol.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 21st 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the The Woodshed in Cherry's Art Emporium (311 S. Main Street, Carthage, MO 64836).
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to: Carthage Historic Preservation, Carthage Public Library, Lake County Community Foundation.
