We are sad to announce that on March 14, 2023, at the age of 62, Blake Anthony Zapletal Sr. in Carthage, Missouri, born in Ennis, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Henry Zapletal; and his godson Michael Zapletal. He is survived by: his mother Betty Jane Zmolik Zapletal of Carthage; his sons, Blake Jr. of Joplin, MO, Thomas of Joplin, MO and James Zapletal of Joplin, MO; and his siblings, Clay Zapletal (Cindy) of Manhattan, KS, John Zapletal (Linda) of Oklahoma City, OK and Bonnie Schaeffer (Michael) of Carthage.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Ann's Catholic Church and School, in care of Ulmer Funeral Home.
