It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Christine Webster in Carthage, Missouri, who passed away on September 20, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Christine departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Christine. Though Christine may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Manuel Phipps and Sarah Lile; and her great grandchild Caitlyn Nelson. She is survived by: her son Wayne Green (Jan) of Joplin, MO.; her grandchildren, Valerie Nelson of St. Louis and Dan Thornton of Joplin; her great grandchildren, Zachary Nelson of St. Louis, Tyler Nelson of St. Louis and Spencer Nelson of St. Louis; and her brother Sonny Lile of Wyoming. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Stone Cemetery - Diamond.
