With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Clair Edgar Mitchell of Carthage, Missouri, born in Marshalltown, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 22, 2025 at the age of 75. He is survived by: his sons, Mike Mitchell (Michelle), Tim Mitchell (Kathy) and Josh Mitchell (Christi). He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Parker Mortuary Chapel (1502 S Joplin Ave, Joplin, MO 64804). A memorial service was held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
