We announce the death of David Lee Eiken in Carthage, Missouri, born in Harrisonville, Missouri, who passed away on August 24, 2026, at the age of 59. David will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. David will be remembered for the impact he had on the lives of those around him. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew David will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture his life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. David’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He was predeceased by: his mother Margaret Eiken (Robinson); and his brother Stephen Eiken. He is survived by: his father Donald Eiken (Martha); his brothers, Donnie Eiken (Diana), Jeramy Eiken (Melissa) and Jonathan Eiken (Gladys); and his stepsiblings, Barbara Grider (Justin) and Jeffery Tilton (Pocky). He is also survived by ten nieces and nephews, numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
The family suggests memorial contributions to the ALS Association in care of Knell Mortuary.
