She was predeceased by: her parents, Bob Mitchell and Velma Mitchell (Thorn); and her sister Peggy Mitchell. She is survived by: her son Joseph "Joe" Thomas (Heather) of Carthage; her grandson Justin Thomas of Carthage; her sister Ginger Teed (Jonathan) of Sarcoxie, Missouri; her niece Katie Wommack (Nick) of Reeds, Missouri; and her nephew T. J. Teed (Courtney).
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ulmer Funeral Home (1208 S Garrison Ave, Carthage, MO 64836). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Jasper Schools Cemetery.
