It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald James Herzog (Carthage, Missouri), who passed away on September 13, 2020, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerome Michael Herzog and Rose Cesar Herzog; and his adoptive mother Dorothy Janke Herzog. He is survived by: his wife Karen Colaw Herzog; his son Christopher (Sarah) of Eau Claire; his grandchildren, Kanyon and Kaydence; his brother Douglas (Denise); his sister-in-law Barbara Tucker (Tom); and his sibling's children, Andy Herzog, Daniel Tucker (Sarah) and Janet Kellogg (Josh).

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent in Donald's honor to Fairview Christian Church, your local Habitat for Humanity chapter and the Joe Biden for President campaign in care of Knell Mortuary.

Craig is still teaching at TCC and has Thursday classes, so it’s doubtful we can be there, but I am praying specifically for you, for strength, for health, for unshakable hope. You’ve been Colaw-Herzog for many, many years. A hug to you, remembering those college days of friendship!”
