He was predeceased by: his parents, Nancy Beamer Lane Garrison and Virgil Paul Lane; and his brother Dr. Jerald P. Lane. He is survived by: his sons-in-law, Scott Sawyer and Scott Campbell; his grandchildren, Benjamin Yoo-Bin Sawyer, Owen Jeong Sawyer, Jane Scott "Scottie" Campbell and Ruth May Campbell; his wife Donna Davis; his daughters, Jana Sawyer (Scott) and Susan "Sue" Campbell (Scott) of Elgin, Illinois; his grandchildren, Ben Sawyer, Owen Sawyer, Scottie Cambell and Ruthie Cambell; and his half-brother Doug Lane. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Grace Episcopal Church (820 Howard St, Carthage, MO 64836).
The family suggests memorial donation to Grace Church or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
