In the vast expanse of eternity, James shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid James farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia Lou Hill Woestman; and his fathers, Kent Steadley and William H. Woestman (Marie Susan Gallagher Woestman). He is survived by: his daughter Dr. Kelly Alicia Woestman (Samuel Scott Woestman) of Carl Junction, MO; his grandson Macallan Lawrence Woestman (Jessica Brundridge); and his siblings, Mary Susan Woestman Mathews of Burlington, KY, Patricia Irene Woestman Corich (Ed) of Creve Coeur, MO, Eugene Thomas Woestman of Lexington, KY and Richard Frances Woestman (Daphne). He is also survived by sixteen nieces and nephews.

Any contributions can be made to the Children's Center of Southwest Missouri in care of Ulmer Funeral Home.
